Last updated: 26 October 2026. These terms describe how the free getVEDANGA website is intended to be used.
Free access
The calculators and journal are available without registration or payment. No purchase is required to reveal a calculator result. We may improve the site and correct or remove inaccurate material. Availability can be interrupted by maintenance, hosting issues or browser limitations.
Reflection, culture and limits
Astrological and numerological interpretations are traditional or symbolic frameworks, not scientifically established predictions. Tarot is offered for reflection and entertainment. The site does not provide medical, legal or financial advice, and a chart should not determine decisions about health, safety, relationships or money.
Inputs and accuracy
You are responsible for checking the date, time, location and time zone you enter. The methodology explains calculation choices, supported ranges and limitations. An approximate input cannot produce a reliably exact result. Displayed dates and positions may differ from other software using different conventions.
Local saving and responsible use
Saved charts remain in the browser profile and can be lost when site data is cleared. Do not enter another person’s private information without an appropriate basis to do so. Do not use the tools to harass, stigmatise or make exclusionary decisions about someone.
Content, libraries and corrections
The site includes getVEDANGA editorial material and third-party software under its stated licences. Astronomy Engine’s MIT notice is included with its local copy. Cited sources remain the work of their respective authors. For a correction or a question, use the Instagram contact in the footer.
